From the beginning, Linn advocated direct A/B demos, to allow a fair and objective comparison of hi-fi components, and to make our point that technical specifications are of little relevance to musical enjoyment, and that one should "just listen", relying on foot tapping, smiling faces and head nodding. This 'tune dem' method, of evaluating the relative merits of similar components, is at the heart of our development of new products and upgrades; therefore, we can always be sure that whatever we release afterwards works better, more naturally and more musically, than what we have done before. We go to extremes to pursue musical perfection, and when you hear the results, you'll understand why.
